Patil, was driving around in his luxury Car, One of its brand new radial tyre developed a puncture and irony was he couldn’t find anybody with a good premium quality Radial patch, although hopping every Mom and Pop stores available around…..As he himself has been a technocrat, widely travelled and also was already into manufacturing and selling of Conventional tread rubber (CTR), Precured tread rubber (PCTR), Bonding Gum and Black Vulcanizing Cement (Brand MAHANT) he felt that there was a need for Quality Patches and with that obstinacy he set up a state of the art manufacturing plant in Belgaum employing who is who – from the top notch Patch manufactures of the world, adopting and implementing accepted standards, practices and procedures thus delivering a Dream Product which was christened as VUL TEC, where VUL is the abbreviation for Vulcanizing and TEC is the abbreviation for Technology meaning Vulcanizing Technology.
