Mahant Industries is a trusted manufacturer of tread rubber, bonding gum, tyre and tube patches, and other allied rubber products. Over the years, we have built a strong reputation for delivering reliable rubber solutions to the tyre retreading industry across India.

Led by Mr. Ajit D. Patil, a technocrat with extensive industry experience, Mahant is supported by a skilled team across marketing, procurement, technical operations, quality assurance, and research and development.

Our state of the art manufacturing facility is located in Belgaum, Karnataka, a strategic hub connecting Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Goa. The facility is equipped with advanced machinery and testing equipment, including automated internal mixers, PLC controlled kneaders, precured tread presses, mixing mills, hot feed extruders, and cushion calendars. This infrastructure enables us to maintain consistency and precision across our product range.

Quality is at the core of everything we do. From carefully selected raw materials to in process compounds and finished products, every stage undergoes stringent quality checks. Our product formulations are developed in house to meet market requirements, helping us deliver consistent performance across applications. Our founder Mr. Ajit D. Patil, a technocrat already manufacturing tread rubber & bonding gum under the brand MAHANT, got a puncture on a brand-new radial tyre. Despite searching every shop he could find, he couldn't source a genuinely good quality radial patch. That gap stayed with him. Drawing on his manufacturing experience and industry knowledge, he set up a state-of-the-art plant in Belgaum, brought in some of the world's top patch-manufacturing talent, and built a product around global standards and best practices. The result was VULTEC - short for Vulcanizing Technology. Today, VULTEC is a registered, matured brand known for consistent quality and reliability, backed by the tagline "Perfection Unmatched." The range covers Bias and Radial tyre & tube patches across every size; from bicycles to mining tyres, trucks, and tractors manufactured by a team of around 120 skilled professionals. VULTEC is now exported to 24 countries across Europe, South America, Africa, and the Middle East.

Sustainability, Built Into What We Make

Every product Mahant Industries manufactures exists to extend the life of a tyre, not replace it. That single idea shapes how we think about our role in the industry. Retreading a tyre casing uses only about a third of the crude oil needed to manufacture a new tyre. Two retreaded casings, in terms of raw material, cost roughly what one new tyre does and a well-retreaded casing performs as reliably as new, carrying a fleet just as far, just as safely. When a casing is retreaded instead of discarded, it's kept out of landfills, and the crude oil, energy, and labour that would have gone into producing a replacement from scratch are conserved instead.

For the operators, fleets, and workshops who use our materials, this adds up to something practical, not just principled: lower cost per kilometre, fewer casings sent to waste, and a smaller draw on natural resources with every tyre that gets a second or third life. Since 1989, this has been the quiet logic behind everything we manufacture at Mahant Industries, better materials, longer-lasting tyres, and less waste on India's roads.
